About the Hanover Herb Guild

The Hanover Herb Guild was founded in 1999 in Montpelier, Virginia.  Its mission is to further the knowledge and use of herbs. From making herbal soap to learning new crafts, to arranging herbs, flowers, and greenery from your garden, there is always something interesting at the Hanover Herb Guild meetings. Meetings are held generally the third Monday of every month from September to June at 7 PM. Although meetings are usually held at the Montpelier Center for Arts and Education, sometimes special events require meetings to be held at alternate locations. Please contact us for the time and location of upcoming meetings, or check our Facebook page for new information. Dues are collected annually and are $16.00, which includes membership in the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs.

Each spring, members of the herb guild hold an annual fundraiser that offers plants for sale. Some unusual plants from members’ gardens may be available as well.  Please check the “Upcoming Events” page on our website and our Facebook page for information regarding the annual plant sale.
